All Participants' needs will be met for the duration of the exercise, to the best of the facility's ability.
Just how long is the Conductor is planning on running this? By "someone has to die", does it have to be one of us?
Violence against the Conductor is forbidden, unless a Participant is given explicit permission from the Conductor to engage.
"Explicit" meaning...? He'll tell us directly?
-He never gave me a straight answer, but he says it's a precaution. What would make him ask us to kill him?
I'm most certain this is an experiment of sorts. He gives us code names, expects us to wait forever or kill each other, whichever comes first. Then there's the "Why do you think that there's anyone left to look for you" - I don't believe him, but it only makes him more suspicious. Whoever is running this has folks working for him, kidnapping us and hurting the inspector in the process.
-Luna and Sol are bosses at a young age -> something is up with them
-Cabanela = Sparks??
-Reaver's from the Industrial Revolution era of his world, which is nice and all, but he's still impossible old - definitely not due to being a cyborg - and those likes of his got me worried. He seems really proud of all he's doing, though.
-Dio doesn't know what a camera is. Whoever is from before his era wouldn't know either.
What's with this scar I got on my stomach? Did everyone get hurt while we were being transported?
-Kaneki is a ghoul that eats humans, Chie knows about them.
-Had a nightmare where I was teleported to Earth by Croach, who was also a cosmic being called V'Stalu? And Cactoid Jim was evil for some reason and killed everyone else. I'm not sure what it means.
-Marty McFly also got a fake photo from the machine. Doc is a good friend of his who died, most likely worked in time travel.
-Why does everyone want a chicken? Chickens are not indoor animals. Why.
-Truth or Dare Game (Weiss/Blue, Hibiki/Yuuri, Bakugou/Jean)
- What's a good way to get teenagers together -> Something romantic like a dinner party or a movie -> no drinks, kind of hard. Party food it has to be.
- Tabby is a Mutant, some kind of human with superpowers, common in her world.
- Marty is rightfully worried about the weapons like I am. I should share my emergency closet idea with him.
- Rick is now a mad scientist for sure.
Looks like there's a way to see which people are providing information for him. Also, time to look for a recipe in the library.
-Rick has multiple copies of himself to upload his consciousness to
-Undyne is made of nanotech??? Why didn't I learned earlier? And Bryakuren is a warrior nun??
-George Cabanela. See, Conductor? It wasn't that hard to find his first name. Still strange how Blue said that she only has one name. How is that possible?
-Another weird dream, only I think it was real. I was on the hypercattle drive Sparks was talking about, but I got into a fight with the owner before a highwayman attacked. I tried to stop him, but he stabbed me right where that weird scar it. Susan said it had to be a few years old...so was last week's dream real, too? The profile said I was a bartender, not an inkeep -- it better not have grown legs and walked away from me, too. Though if Jim turned evil, why pick me to replace him as mayor?
-Conductor kept his promise of keeping the chickens in one location. Good for him.
-Giovanni has a pet giant wasp with spears for hands and for a bottom. I feel like it can butt-stab us as any moment.
-Stopped a fight between Dio and Rick today. Rick can be bribed with the fake booze I got.
-Weiss was smart and asked for more clothes.
-Welp, Rick and Giovanni should get together and strip like the lovers they are meant to be.
-Logan thinks the world will end without him. What an egotist. It's not like he's the king and has a much of generals working under him to fight off most invasions. At least I talked some sense into him, but I still don't get why people trust him so much.
-Cabanela and Giovanni both enjoy stripping. And they admired each other during the trial. Maybe I should set up them
-It's possible for multiple people to escape at once, ex. having multiple people murder someone at the same time. Conductor thought I was referring to something else?
-Asuka. Asuka Asuka. How could she? Why did Hibiki think killing one person that she liked made her a monster while Reaver wasn't? He's the one who was controlling the lives of his workers! Asuka and Undyne weren't thinking at all about what they were doing.
was close to Ashley. I didn't want her to die.
What if I'm next? What if I'm going to die? Is everyone in my universe dead? Who's taking care of Harriet? The Conductor said that he wouldn't stop us if we found another way out, but what if I die before then? What if Marty or Tabby or Sukuyo dies first?
-The Conductor is like the Galaxium: can't interfere, only observe
-The Conductor is most likely in charge of the experiment. He doesn't work for the god, but they worked together before. He really is like V'Stalu what with him trying his best to be a neutral party.
-There was too much in today's dream. I was the mayor, and I had the Force Galactic for some reason, and Croach was normal. Sparks was the Marshal again. I went back in time and teleported and made clones of myself to set up a quickdraw contest. Harriet forbids my use of my powers in town. Colton Wynant was invited and brought in an automaton and it nearly killed all of us if it weren't for Bill Clover. The Widow Johnson accidentally shot and killed Felton, but I brought him back to life.
???
I don't want to think about Felton dying like that.
-Giovanni prefers sweet Mojitos
-Logan likes wines
-Youko likes the fake sake with lime juice; asks for no modifications
-Cabanela doesn't like sweet drinks, and he loves eating chicken
-Why does Hibiki hate anyone who isn't Susan? She might get someone killed by only trusting one person. Why can't she be more the type to give everything she knows even if someone might find it annoying? I can't but be a bit worried how easy it is for her to turn against anyone. There's a chance she'll plan something with Susan and get us all in trouble. We have to be careful about her
-Giovanni's mind sure is grimdark. He must be the type to enjoy stories where everyone dies at the end and being happy is treated like the worst thing in the world.
-I don't know why, but I felt a bit bad for Chie Hori. She looked like she regretted what she did a bit towards the end, and that quick decision to execute her didn't sit right with me. This place is more lawless than Mars. There's no jury to decide the punishment, only the Conductor's choice. This can't happen. I don't want to die in a strange place, but as mayor, my duty is to do something about it. Jean and Marty and Rakka and Sol need someone to look after them, and I think Morty is just another rash teenager deep inside. He tries to be brave, but it'll get him killed if he wants to impress Sol by sacrificing himself.
-What is it with London having terrible policemen? No wonder Susan is such a bitter woman.
-Susan: wine
-I realized why those teenagers in the photo look familiar. They died in the previous Punishment Soccer games. Am I able to revive people I barely remember? Did I really coach a group of teenagers?
I remembered actually running the hotel with my own guard bellbots. Rebecca Rose Rushmore was visiting (and she married Jim - since when did he and Red divorce?? Also he was running for President of Earth.) and everyone got infected by Murdermen. Sparks, Red, Felton, Rebecca, Chicky Sullivan (he died in that other dream- must take place before Jim turned evil). Croach wasn't there for some reason.
Then they all tried to kill me. I was trapped in my own place and they were planning on killing everyone if Harriet hadn't come just on time. Then we got into an argument and she left.
I hope that doesn't mean we're on bad terms. Is Harriet alright? Is she sick with worry? What if something happens to her while I'm gone?
Felton needs to do a better job of keeping himself safe.
I need to be more careful. Anyone here could snap and kill someone. I have to do a better job of turning my room into a panic closet. I hope Marty and Jean will be okay. I have to check on the other kids and Sukuyo.
-WHY DOES THE CONDUCTOR HAVE HARRIET'S TROUBLESHOOTING EQUIPMENT? WHAT DID HE DO TO HER? IF SHE IS HURT IN ANY WAY I SWEAR HE WILL NEVER HEAR THE END OF IT.
YOU ARE GOING TO ANSWER FOR THIS
-The shadow creatures aren't working for him, and they're more like partners. Kind of like how you don't ask your neighbor to do your chores for you, in this case, getting something from this building. Is he too afraid to get into the mail room and kitchen himself?
-So Pokemon really are the creation of mad science. And those scientists divide sentient life into "humans" and "Pokemon". Clearly they aren't thinking straight.
-Lisbeth is the one who wrote the journals and attacked the Conductor, but if she was able to reach the bar when she was alive and was the first to die--how does that work? At least I know that everyone's still on the other side. Once I get the Force Galactic back, I'll be sure to bring them back.
-One theory: The Conductor must have made some deal with a cosmic being-like creature, and it led to him teaming up with the shadows. He ran the last game as a reward for his hard work with the research facility that does these sort of things. He mentioned his "living situation" led to him always being provided for.
-Jean likes sparkling wine.
-How did he even get hold of the atomic piano? Was it salvaged from wherever my saloon ended up?
-I wish I could have gotten through Dio earlier. That pride and belief he didn't need anyone's help...it reminded me both of Sparks and Croach. I wish he didn't. There had to be another way to get out of here that didn't involve dying and turning us into vampires.
This is the first time someone like is the murderer. I don't want to believe this happened.
I wish I could do something more.
But this means I have to get to work.
Rakka and Morty died because I didn't do anything more than tell them to be careful. Sol and Marty and Jean deserve better.
-That was the most useful six minutes of my life. It turns out V'Stalu gave me the Force Galactic because I asked the right questions and then disabled all of Evil Jim's powers before sucking out Good Present Day Cactoid Jim. Then he shot the evil version because that's what heroes do. Apparently.
Why does everyone want to solve things with violence?
At least I know that there can be practically nothing left of the bodies and still revive them. And I have the original Space Saloon again.
Sorry, V'Stalu, but not really.
But this means I can save everyone. Jim was right: the universe is my place, and it's my responsibility to see that there's no more trouble in it. And we'll do it without any more killing.
LOGAN YOU IDIOT were you trying to fight the shadows? Why did you have to go and fight it? I told you there had to be another way. Why did you think going after it would work this time?
I told you.
Please. Why can't everyone just stop and think before they do anything?
-There's a shadow creature on the other side that can kill ghosts. That's why there's only one original participant left.
-The Inspector said that ghosts can manipulate bodies. Is that what happened to me yesterday?
-They call it the Conductor's pet, but he said they were more like partners. He must be afraid of it, in a sense. We have to turn it against him.
But how?
I need to keep talking and writing letters. We're running out of time.
The Conductor was nearly set up with a woman to marry her. He worked his way up to one of the highest positions in society, but he still doesn't feel like getting close to other people. Said he wasn't like most humans.
What was it the piano said about realizing the love in our hearts? It won't work here, but the Conductor desperately needs intervention. He's got a messed up way of looking at the world.
