Character Development Questions
1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.
On his back; it's better for his spine and more comfortable.
2. Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc.
According to the character art I'm using, he has a curly mustache, an the tip of his nose is redder than the rest of his face.
Mordecai has a small scar on his belly where he was stabbed by Highwayman Dan.
3. Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like?
He's from a space western, so he has a strong cowboy western accent fit for a barkeep.
4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?
He drops the "g's" off the end of words and uses words like "ain't" and "iffen". He has no difficulty saying what he's thinking, but it's in such a roundabout way like "You almost caused trouble in my place! By which I mean my face." when Pembroke nearly shot him. He ends up using more sentences than needed to get his point across.
5. What are their chief tension areas?
His back, from all that standing around. And he gets headaches from all the trouble that keeps on happening to him.
6. If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?
7. How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral?
Positive. He overlooks his prying nature and focuses on his good traits, like his "desire for peace", his love for his wife, and his abilities. When one points out his flaws, he acknowledges them but doesn't take them to heart.
8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?
He's on the fast side
9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.

It's the 30th century. He firmly believes in evolution. Mordecai is Jewish, but while he's not very religious, he observes major holidays.
